Parent’s Corner

Today, the issues that affect our children extend beyond their individual schools. Now more than ever, students need parents to engage with students and partner with schools to help support and help lead youth. Studies reveal that students who have parent involvement in their educational experience are more likely to excel academically, socially, and emotionally. Parents corner provides parents with the forum and tools to collectively influence the decisions that affect children not only at their schools but also throughout their communities.

What is Parents Corner?

Parents Corner is the Parent Teacher Association for Legacy Academy of Excellence. We’ve decided to change the name from PTA to Parents Corner because we understand that while parents will work collaboratively to champion many causes for the benefit of students, we also desire to provide services and resources to parents in need.

Why Parent involvement?

Parent organizations are the oldest and largest child advocacy associations in America. It is composed of millions of parents, teachers, grandparents, caregivers, foster parents, and other caring adults who share a commitment to improving the education, health, and safety of all children. “We speak with one voice for every child.”
